We are four days into 2018 … and I want to know:
How’s it going for you, sis??
How are you feeling? How is your energy?
In this season of giving … have you spent any time on YOU, yet?
(Be honest. #iseeyou)
As Black Women, we take care of everyone and everything before we take care of ourselves. We’ll give and give and give … without ever stopping to give to ourselves.
So let me ask you—when is it your time to spend on YOU?
YOU matter too. Not just the kids. Not just your boo. Not just your sisters.
YOU ARE WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU HAVE EVER BEEN TAUGHT TO BELIEVE!
So take some time for YOU.
And I invite you to use some of that “you” time to get clear on your intentions for YOURSELF in 2018.
Now when I say, “take some time,” I mean really take the time, sis. Really, what could you better invest your time in, than yourself?
You are a whole person—not a machine. Feeding YOU, nurturing YOU, tending to YOU needs to be your #1 priority.
So don’t rush this process. Give yourself the TIME you deserve to envision 2018. What will it look like, for you?
A great way to get really clear on that is to start by creating your New Year’s theme—using only three words.
Confluence, Influence, Affluence.
Think about yours, sis.
These three words can be your guidepost in the new year.
When you’re ready, post your theme below so we can bear witness!
With all the love my heart can hold…
